Does WebHostingBuzz provide domain registration services?
We do not provide domain registration as a service apart of hosting service.
If you have a hosting account with us, you can purchase domains with the following TLDs

WebHostingBuzz registers and manages this domain names on behalf of its clients. Domain name is free as long as the client keeps the hosting account with WebHostingBuzz.com
Can I transfer a domain to you?
We provide the web hosting service only.You may either stay with your current registrar or transfer the domain to our partners: NameCheap.com.In both cases the domain needs to be pointed to our server.
Can I create addon domains without the DNS change?
It is possible but we do not recommend it however if it is an absolute necessity, our techs might be able to arrange it for you. You would need to open up a support ticket for this.
Can I change main domain name at WebHostingBuzz?
Yes you can and we would do it for free just by submitting the request to our billing department.Main Reseller Domain Name changes could be performed in case private nameservers are NOT used.Otherwise the only option is to recreate the account from scratch
I already have a domain name. Can I transfer its registration management to WebHostingBuzz?
At this time we are not taking domain name registration transfers. You would need to keep your domain name with your current Registrar
and change the name servers to our values.
Can you host all types of domain name extensions?
Yes we can host any valid domain extension as long as you are able to change its DNS (Domain Name Servers) to the values we send you in your web hosting welcome email.
Who will own the free domain name being offered with your hosting plans?
WebHostingBuzz would own the domain name and keep it registered with Namecheap.com for no additional fees except hosting price.
However you may always get the domain pushed to your own Namecheap.com account for $15 one-time fee.
Software and Services
Does WebHostingBuzz support FrontPage?
No, we don't
Can I run an online store by using a shopping cart software?
Yes you can and we provide many free shopping cart scripts for you to use. You can even install them
with one click of a button. You would however need to use a shopping cart that is based out of PHP scripting language
and MYSQL database software.
Does WebHostingBuzz provide Merchant Accounts?
As a special offer we provide a free 2Checkout.com credit card/merchant account
It enables you to accept payments for products and services and process them yourself without any payment processor. Basically you yourself become a payment processor.
Its normal registration one-time fee is $49. But we offer a coupon which allows customers to register this account for free
To get a coupon a customer needs submitting a ticket to billing at http://whbsupport.com
To get an account a registration is required at http://www.2checkout.com
We do not. You would need to buy a dedicated SSL certificate if you want to use it on your website.
We offer Comodo positive SSL $12.95/year. If you purchase an SSL certificate from us you get $10 discount for a dedicated IP. Please contact billing for more details.
Can I use ASP on your servers?
Yes, but on Windows hosting only, i.e. Xen VPS/dedicated server with Windows OS or Windows Basic package
Can WebHostingBuzz offer web design services?
We cannot offer full fledged custom website design services at this time. WebHostingBuzz does however provide its clients
with an online website builder software, which has dozen of ready made website templates under various categories available for use.
This software is free to use and can be accessed inside the cPanel control panel.
Does WebHostingBuzz provide customized hosting solutions?
At this time we provide customized dedicated hosting solutions only.
Does WebHostingBuzz support JSP?
No we do not support JSP normal hosting plans. If you have a windows dedicated server or VPS with us, you can install it yourself and then start using it.
Can WebHostingBuzz support DJango and Ruby on Rails?
Django is supported on our dedicated servers only, Ruby on Rails is also available on Business plans and on Platinum Reseller plan.
Does WebHostingBuzz host adult websites?
Adult content is prohibited on our servers.
Do you allow rapeedleech?
According to our AUP, running of public file exchange services is strictly prohibited
Technical issues
What is the size limit for the Mail Box?
You can allow any amount of web space to your email account as long as it is below your web hosting plan's web space quota.
Can I work on MySQL through a remote location?
We do not support this feature. You can however do it if you have a VPS or a dedicated server with us.
What Operating System does WebHostingBuzz use on the servers?
We use CentOS Linux and FreeBSD Operating systems on our shared servers. Clients do have the ability to install their own choice of Linux operating system on VPS (CentOS, Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, Gentoo) and any including Windows Server 2008 on dedicated servers or Xen VPS
What version of PHP does WebHostingBuzz use?
We support both php 4.0 + and php 5+ .
What version of Apache does WebHostingBuzz use?
Currently we use Apache 2+. This version is for reference only because we keep updating the software as needed.
Can I edit the httpd conf file ?
This file can be edited with root access to the server only (VPS and Dedicated servers)
Please do not edit virtual hosts, as these changes will not be saved and will cause cPanel subdomain, addon domains malfunction
Global Apache configuration should be saved by manual start of inter-nal cPanel 'distiller‘ script
Some directives of global Apache configuration can be edited by means of .htacces file on shared server
Do you support custom error pages?
Yes we do and you can set them up inside your cPanel control panel.
Can I make my own .htaccess files?
Yes you can.
I have written my own script. Can I run it on your servers?
Yes you can as long as the script can be executed on a Linux server. We do however recommend that you get in touch first if you feel it can possibly cause trouble on a shared hosting server.
Guarantees
Can I get my money back if WebHostingBuzz does not come up to my standards?
Yes, you can. However you would have to file for the refund within the first 45 days of the sign up.
What would happen to my site if your server hardware breaks down?
Server hardware can go down at times however we at WebHostingBuzz on duty 24 hours a day and if any such incident does happen,we take all possible measures to bring your websites online as soon as possible by replacing the hardware.
We also update our server status area on our forums regularly for any network related updates including server downtime notifications.
How do you monitor your servers?
We use Nagios server monitoring software to check the availability of our web servers every 2 minutes. The moment a web server goes down,our technical team gets right on it to fix the issue as soon as possible. We also post our monthly server uptime reports on our blog
and network announcements at our forum.
Can I test your services for free for a few days and then buy your products?
You cannot because we do not give out free trial periods. But if you are not happy with the service you can ask for the refund within 30 days after sign up date.
Does WebHostingBuzz back up the data on its web servers?
We do however we recommend you to keep your own local backups and not rely 100% on us. Having backups on two locations is always a good idea.
