Installing phpCOIN - Fantastico De Luxe
- Step 1: Login to your Admin cPanel http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
- Step 2: Locate and click on the Fantastico De Luxe Icon
- Step 3: Under the “Hosting Billing” section, find and click on “phpCOIN”
- Step 4: In the right panel, select “New Installation”
- Step 5: on page 1 of the installation process, you will be prompted for the installation directory. To have phpCOIN installed on your website’s main page (http://www.yourdomain.com) leave it blank else, insert the directory of your choice (http://www.yourdomain.com/phpcoin). Fill out all the required information accordingly and click “Install phpCOIN”.
- Step 6: A summary of the installation details will be posted. Once read, click “Finish Installation”. You will also see the link to your freshly installed phpCOIN
Manual Web Interface Installation
- Step 1: Download the latest stable release of phpCOIN from the official website.
- Step 2: Extract the downloaded file on your desktop and then Upload them back to your web hosting account under a folder named “/phpCOIN” in your “/public_html” directory
- Step 3: From within cPanel, create a new MySQL database and name it “phpcoin”. Also create a username and a password for that database and keep them in a safe place for future use.
- Step 4: After successful upload, and using the cPanel File Manager, go to “/phpCOIN” and open the file “config.php” with a text editor.
- Step 5: Edit the database settings to best fit the database connections (database name, username, password…)
- Step 6: After editing the config.php file, go to http://www.youdomain.com/phpCOIN
- Step 7: The phpCOIN installation wizard will show up. Agree to the License and insert your database password. Click Install to proceed.
- Step 8: After all the tables are created and the entries are updated, then phpCOIN will have been installed successfully.
Using phpCOIN
Create Product
- Step 1: Login to the administrative backend of phpCOIN.
- Step 2: Click on the “Admin” button on the right side of the page.
- Step 3: Click on the “Products” link under the Products section.
- Step 4: Click on the “Add new” button located at the end of the products list.
- Step 5: Fill in the required fields and click on “Add”
Create Client
- Step 1: Login to the administrative backend of phpCOIN.
- Step 2: Click on the “Clients” button.
- Step 3: Click on the “Add new” button located at the end of the clients list.
- Step 4: Fill in the required fields and click on “Add”.
Create Order
- Step 1: Login to the administrative backend of phpCOIN.
- Step 2: Click on the “Orders” button.
- Step 3: Click on the “Add new” button located at the end of the order list.
- Step 4: Fill in the required fields and click on “Add”.
Generate Invoice
- Step 1: Login to the administrative backend of phpCOIN.
- Step 2: Click on the “Invoices” button.
- Step 3: Click on the “Add new” button located at the end of the invoices list.
- Step 4: Fill in the required fields and click on “Add”.
Backup phpCOIN database
- Step 1: Login to the administrative backend of phpCOIN: http://www.yourdomain.com/phpcoin/admin.php
- Step 2: On the bottom of the page you will see: “Backup Database”
- Step 3: Select your preferred way to backup the database and click “Copy”
