I agree with that, you can go for SEObook.com and there are some good SEO forums which are useful to you to understand SEO easily.

as per some black hat method, they suggest us to look for old youtube video, or any old digg article, probalby 5 to 8 year ago.

those article/video mostly having some PR, post a comment there with your website link, and you will get a higher PR back link from there.

also, heard that digg.com and youtube.com hardly moderate their comment there. so your link are safe there
