    While there's a lot to SEO, getting great backlinks is actually the way to go. I have an article that is number 6 in Google out of 13 MILLION.

    You could try reading SEObook.com of Aaron Wall. Worth reading to learn more techniques on SEO.

    as per some black hat method, they suggest us to look for old youtube video, or any old digg article, probalby 5 to 8 year ago.

    those article/video mostly having some PR, post a comment there with your website link, and you will get a higher PR back link from there.

    also, heard that digg.com and youtube.com hardly moderate their comment there. so your link are safe there
