Default Domain CPanels

Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to access my other domain cpanels. such as my root is sitea.com, I know my main cpanel login is sitea.com:2082 and login with normal details.
Once I create an addon domain, how do I access only that cpanel? Say I add on siteb.com with username:siteb and pwassword. siteb.com:2082 username siteb pwassword? because this doesnt work. Or is this something that has to be asked for from support and I can get it. Thanks

myname servers are ns100.whbdns.com and ns101.whbdns.com user thesecre
Thanks

An Addon domain does not get its own cPanel login. That domain is "added on" to whatever domain you chose.

If you have multiple domains and want each of them to have its own cPanel account and login, along with individual settings for each, then I recommend a Reseller account.

Seriously? Why can I type siteb.com:2082 and get a login prompt then? so clearly there is a cpanel there.

How am I supposed to backup and restore only certain domain directories then? Because if i hit restore it does the home directory: the root which screws up my root site.

Of course there is a cPanel login there, because you are accessing the same server and same account as your main domain. That is just a different URL that resolves to the same cPanel login, the same cPanel as your main domain.

Addon domains are a way to allow a client to have a few extra domains without requiring a separate account. Addon domains are not as powerful, flexible or functional as full cPanel accounts. A Reseller account allows you to have a separate cPanel account for each domain.
