Question Server not being found error

For some time now I have repeatedly been getting "server not found" when I try to get on to my website or Cpanel.

Quote:
Hosting package Buzz Lite
Server Name buzz1
I did report this before but I was told that everything was working correctly. The problem is seen on IE8 and (mostly) Firefox 3. I extended the default search time on FF to see if that would give more time to find the server, but it has not helped.

Quote:
# Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com

# If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

# If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I use Outpost Firewall and my site is listed on the "safe sites". The site eventually comes up but it is most annoying.

Any ideas?

Mark

By the way, I have some other sites with WHB and they never give me a problem. For example.

Server Name usa.ultrawhb.com
Server Name bear

Mark,

Which domain in particular are you having this problem with?

Thanks Matt,

I sent the details via PM.

I raised a ticket for this some time back and was asked to try YSLOW and some other things. The report was too many hops. Posting this reminded me that I have a test Forum on the same server, so what I will do is delete that fully, though I doubt that the live forum will be hopping to the test forum(most likey the other way around).

Having said that, I had test Forums on other servers and had no problems.

UPDATE:
Wiped the test Forum and it is still happening. It is now very hard to get onto the Cpanel.

Be sure to reply to your ticket (or open a new one) when it's happening so they can check it. We can discuss it here on the forum, but you need to get a tech on it asap.

I had a look at the error report. You would swear that the connection misses for a split second as the error reports page not found, which is partly the URL and partly HTML!

Anyway, I will have to send in a ticket, but it may not be tomorrow, but very soon.

Thanks for the support.

I noticed this happening on and off this past weekend with all three of my domains:

cfnson.com
tbmp.org
watersysop.com

They're on 65.98.16.122

Default I also have problems oppening my web pages on RS3

For about 7 days I have similar problem opening my web pages (page load error) and connect over FTP too.Pages is online for about 30 minutes and then offline almost 1 minute. My server is RS3.My case is open almost 7 days.So I don't believe it is problem with just one server.

Did you create any glue records for ns100.whbdns.com or ns101.whbdns.com with old name server IPs in your Domain Registrar's domain control panel?
