Default Is WHB server so poor?

    Sorry to ask so...

I have few client website, WHB told me the website was very heavy load, and can cause the server overload. Base on the alexa ranking over my client website, and also the amount of traffic I get know from there are actually not high.

My self hosted a website locally with another web hosting company as a end user. I was thinking to stop the service there, and change hosted under my own reseller account. But i was not confident enough with WHB server.

Currently my website have more then 1000 visitor per days, with alexa 180K, I think once my website hosted in, the server will get down again..

but my local web hosting provider's server able to supported nicely, why WHB's server can't?

I have check over the server I currently hosted (with another local web hosting company), 300++ domain hosted in the same shared server, still no problem occur...

Load has very little to do with traffic. Alerta tells you about your traffic, not about server load. You could be overloading the server if you have insecure or poorly-written scripts that use a lot of resources, or if you allow download or streaming of huge files.

Our current pricing model does attract some clients who abuse/crash the servers. We are modifying our pricing model this week to reduce this so much.

Generally you only see the problematic servers here. This is usually 1-2 and the cycle of performance reduction occurs when we are adding new accounts. We're doing our best to kill this cycle.

So far my client website are just wordpress and joomla, WHB warn before that my client using a plugin name "global translator" script make the server overload

but my website also using wordpress with this plugin over my local provider, so far so good.

That mean there are other user abuse/crash the server? Seen like in the support ticket, the staff sound like I am the one abuse.

Honestly, I really hope stay with WHB, just some time feel very disapointed with the low performance on the server.

Hope your end can really reduce those problem, and give me a peaceful sleep at nite without nightmare.

Maybe your local provider isn't as careful as monitoring the servers as us, but there are many, many poorly coded Wordpress plugins that hammer web servers across the globe all day long.

Also, even a little performance can cause a problem on a shared server. For example, if my thumbnail script did not "imagedestroy()" I could overwhelm a server with generated thumbnails that stick around in memory.

I myself am a small customer right now with only one VPS server, and I have never felt as I was being put off because of it , so in my dealings with them I will have to disagree on the fact they do not care about the small customers.

if comparing the amount you paid and amount that I paid... you are a big customer to them.
