The server has been booted without the second HDD. As soon as the process of data copying from the old HDD to the new one is completed, we will shut down the server again, connect the new HDD and bring the server back to normal mode.

The process of data rescuing/copying from HDD is still in progress.
It appeared to take more time than was expected due to multiple bad block errors.

Unfortunately it can be hardly estimated how long more the dd rescue process may take as it is non-linear in time due to a large number of bad block errors.

Failed HDD sectors require multiple passes using blocks of smaller size in order to provide proper data integrity.

DD_rescue process has been completed.

The server will be now taken offline to put in the new HDD with full data restored.

The HDD has been successfully replaced. The server is now back online and working fine. All users' data has been successfully and completely restored.

We will keep monitoring server's operation.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding. If you still experience any issue with your account on this server, please open a technical ticket at https://whbsupport.com for thorough investigation.

During HDDs replacement the server was booted from the wrong HDD - the one with the outdated data. We have contacted the datacenter and requested the removal of this "wrong" HDD, so we could reboot the server and get it on-line with the proper HDD.

The reboot is going to take about 15-20 minutes.

The server seems to be working stable. All the data is up to date and all the services are running normally.

We would like you to accept our apologies for all these inconveniences and say thank you for being patient.
