Where is WebHostingBuzz located?

WebHostingBuzz.com is a division of WHB Networks LLC, incorporated in the state of Delware, USA. We have a small administrative office in Delware, with larger offices New Jersey, USA, Lincolnshire, UK and Kharkov, Ukraine. Our global presence allows us to offer fast and efficient 24x7 customer service.

Where would my website be hosted?

WebHostingBuzz uses 3 data centers within the US, one in NJ, one in TX and other in GA. These facilities are purpose built with high levels of redundancy built in to the network and power systems. Both have N+1 power systems and a redundant meshed network infrastructure, with multiple gigabit connectivity to the Internet. Neither data center is in an area that can be affected by adverse weather conditions.

What services does WebHostingBuzz provide?

WebHostingBuzz provides hosting services to a broad client base. Our services are price-orientated, bringing affordability to an expensive market. In addition to our core hosting services, we also provide domain registration and SSL certificate registration services.
It is our intention to increase our service offering with the launch of premium level hosting services, additional website tools and SaaS solutions.

I pay my ISP 10 times more and have very little web space and bandwidth. How can you provide that much space and bandwidth and still remain in business? Are you overselling the network resources?

WebHostingBuzz was created to bring affordability to the hosting market over 4 years ago. We are still true to our original mission statement and 'value' is very important to us. Our extensive infrastructure and slick operational management allows us to provide a high level of service at an affordable price, without overselling our infrastructure or human resources.

Are there any hidden fees?

There are no hidden fees associated with our service. This is not the type of service we like to provide.

• If you cancel your hosting account, you will be charged $15/year for domain renewal
• If you close your account within the money back period, we refund the money minus our processing fee

Do you provide Domain Registration Services?

Yes we provide FREE domain name for LIFE with every web hosting account. You can keep the domain name with us for free as long as you host with us. We will also help you transfer your domain name for a fee of $15 per domain name to your next domain registrar should you decide to leave us.

Will you raise your prices?

No. We have never raised our prices in our 4 years of business and we do not intend to. Infact, we have increased our features and package limits year on year and we offer this to existing clients when they renew their package too.

Please explain your 30 day money back policy

We offer unconditional 30 day money back on shared and reseller hosting plans. We do not offer a money back guarantee on domain names or dedicated servers.

Do your services support Apple Macs?

Yes, our hosting packages support any platforms.

How do I sign up for your web hosting?

Our sign-up process is online and fully automated. You need to sign up with a credit card or e-check (we accept Mastercard, Visa, AMEX and Discover).

Accounts are usually setup within 90 minutes but occasionally our credit card merchant has to complete manual fraud checks. You will receive an initial purchase payment almost immediately, followed by the full welcome email when your account is setup.

Can I register a new domain name with you?

Yes you can. We will register and maintain your domain name for you.

What is the difference between Budget and Reseller Website Hosting?

All additional websites hosted under budget hosting plan have one main control panel where as all websites added under reseller hosting have their own individual control panels. Budget website hosting is recommended for folks that need the ability to host multiple similar websites under one account whilst a reseller account gives you the ability to host an unlimited number of accounts, each with the features that come with our budget hosting.

Domains at WHB:

Can the domain be transferred to us?

Unfortunately we cannot accept domain registration transfers, which means that if you already have a domain name elsewhere, we can only host it for you on our web servers. So if you already have a domain name registered elsewhere, please be advised to leave it with your current registrar and point it to our nameservers.

Who will own the domain name?

Clients will own the domain name and can move their domain names with them in case they decide to leave us OR just keep the domain name with us.

Do you provide whois protection for the domains?

Yes, by deafult all the domains which were registered for free with us are whois protected.

Can I use my own domain whois information?

By default all new domain registrations are whois protected for consumer security. If any client wants his or her information displayed to the public, they can contact us and we can do this for them.
If you plan to order SSL certificate and use it on your hosting account, you will almost definitely have to request WHOIS protection removal. Certificate signing authorities often use emails from WHOIS database to contact domain owner.

How many domains can I host under one account?

You have the possibility to host unlimited amount of domains under your cPanel account. Except for the main domain you will be able to create subdomains, Addon and Parked domains as well.

How can I pay for your services?

We can take all major credit and debit cards. We use 2checkout/2co, a credit card processing company based in Ohio United States for processing the cards which means that *2checkout or 2co* would appear in your credit or debit card statement. Also paypal is available as a payment method. All the transactions are processed by 2CO.
(MasterCard, American Express etc are also accepted)+

What is 2checkout.com?

2CO is our official payment processor. All clients are charged by 2co on our behalf. Charge for all transactions done at WebHostingBuzz.com will appear on your CREDIT CARD STATEMENT under the name of 2CHECKOUT.COM, 2CO.COM Ohio, USA.

Do you store credit card details?

No, we do not. We use 2checkout.com for CC payments so we do not store any CC details other than the order information. You are secure with 2checkout as they are one of the biggest online payment companies in the world.

Do you offer merchant accounts?

No matter where your business is located you can start accepting all major credit and debit cards directly online within few minutes. We recommend the world famous 2checkout/2co for online credit card processing solution. Total activation process will take about five minutes to have your vendor account active.

How can I rebill?

1. All the customers who signed up before Oct 2006 are billed automatically, that means that their credit cards are charged without any additional actions or confirmations.
2. The most simple way to rebill is to login to your billing area (https://www.webhostingbuzz.com/order/client_login.php), to click on view invoices and click on Pay under the invoice which is currently due.

Do you accept payments from all over the world?

We accept users from ALL over the world except the following:
* North Korea* Cuba * Iran * Sudan * Syria * Myanmar (Burma)
(this is because our billing processor *2checkout* cannot accept payments from those countries).

How can I resell hosting with you?

We do provide our customers with reseller web hosting plans which gives them the ability to further provide web hosting to their own clients. We remain completely anonymous in the background managing everything for you while you work on building your client base. We even provide our reseller web hosting clients with order and client management software licenses absolutely free of charge. Now we have two types of Reseller hosting Startup and Professional.

I don't know which reseller plan to choose: Professional or Startup?

• Reseller Startup Plans are good for those who want to start reselling hosting. Please note that Startup plans do not come with WHMAP and we cannot offer them on it. However you can have your own WHM to manage your customers’ accounts, free domain for life, that we’ll register and maintain for free as long as you stay with us, Fantastico that comes with more than 10.000 installations that can be can be used by your customers.
• Reseller Professional Plans are for more professional level of reselling hosting. These plans come with unlimited number of cPanel based accounts and several free domains. You may also use WHMAP complete web host management system that includes a feature rich product profile system, billing management and support (http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/websit...pilot-software).

Can I offer Free Webhosting within me Reseller account?

According to our AUP: the customer agrees not to provide free services such as free hosting, free subdomains or free email accounts. Customers found violating this section will be terminated immediately and all payments forfeited.

What are the differences between WHM and cPanel?

With CPanel any client can control and make changes in his account, WHM is intended only for resellers or host system administrators. WHM is created to manage a lot of accounts (a lot of cPanels).

Can I have resellers under my reseller account?

No, unfortunately you can not.

Do you provide private name servers?

Yes, we do. Private nameservers are provided for reseller hosting only and they are free in Professional Reseller Hosting for free and cost $20 in Startup plans. They will look like ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com.

What is Business hosting for?

This kind of hosting is for those websites that demand high CPU and memory allocations. Only 50 clients are hosted per one server. This guarantees users higher amounts of CPU and memory resources, when they need it. You might need some of our business plans if your site requires a huge number of mysql connections.

How many sites can be hosted on business hosting plans?

You can host unlimited number on all the given packages.

How can I test the upload speed?

The only way to test the upload speed is to order a hosting package that meets your requirements and upload your data. If you unsatisfied with the speed provided you can get your money back for the package you ordered within 30 days from the sign up date.

Do you monitor your servers?

Yes we use Nagios Server Monitoring Software to monitor our machines round the clock. All machines are checked for performance every 2 minutes and corrective action is taken instantly if a drop of service occurs.

What Operation system do you use on your servers?

We use CentOS Linux on all our web servers.

Can you transfer my account from my previous hosting provider?

If you have cPanel as the Control Panel the process is simple. If you experience any difficulties we'll galdly assist you. But if you have any other control panel you will need to take care of the transfer on your own.

Do you provide dedicated IP addresses?

Yes, we do. It costs $30 per year and if you need SSL 1 IP will be issued for your account for free.

What are your name servers so I could point my domain to you?

Our name servers are ns100.whbdns.com and ns101.whbdns.com

Do you offer webdesign?

We willprovide you with a free online website builder tool called the RvsiteBuilder. Packed with hundreds of templates and updated with new ones every month, this software is sure to blow your mind. Works faster than any web designer out there and provides users with a creative tool to make cutting graphics and content navigation scripts.
However please note, that it will be impossible to move a site, created with RVSitebuilder, to an external location. Technically it can be hosted on the server where it was created only.

Do you offer Microsoft Frontpage extensions?

We support MS Frontpage on all our web servers. You may create the needful extensions in your cPanel.

Do you allow SSH?

Yes, we do. In order to get SSH access you need to submit the ticket to technical support and provide us with faxed photo copy of a photo ID or the same you send to us through email. Please note, that we do not provide common full-featured shell, the only option is jailed shell.

Do you offer shopping carts?

We do offer one click install world class Oscommerce shopping cart script. It can be installed directly inside the website management control panel.

What is Fantastico De Luxe?

Fantastico De Luxe is the leading autoinstaller for cPanel servers. With more than 10.000 installations, it provides more than one million end users the ability to quickly install dozens of the leading open source content management systems into their web space.

What if being your customer I will decide to have a bigger plan, is it possible to upgrade?

Of course, it is possible, all you need to do is to contact our billing department and they will provide with all the instructions. Besides, we have the prorate formula which will allow you not to lose money if you are upgrading in the middle of your billing cycle.

Why can the account be suspended?

If your site consumes much resources, contains illegal content, streaming video and if there is some payment problems: fraud or if you don’t pay for our services in time. To summarize your account may be suspended from 2 major reasons: WHM AUP violation or billing-related issues.

Just wondering... what if the site is 100% legit, and just so happens to consume a lot of resources? Is that grounds for an upgrade if the server's needs are not met but were relayed before purchase, etc.?

You have static page with information about say barack obama and it gets lots of hits. This is going to take lot of transfer but not necessarily lot of Processor or RAM memory and this is fine with WebHostingBuzz.com how ever if you have a website that has a forum with 100s of active users online at all the time, it is going to eat away the CPU and RAM and other users on the server would be affected with slow loading websites and hence cannot be supported by us.

If you have a good website that has tons of traffic, it rightfully deserves a powerful platform such as VPS or a dedicated server. Think about it as an investment on your online property you have worked so hard to build.
