We had several hour network outage in Atlanta datacenter today, caused by upstream's core router failure. Major part of our network wasn't affected, however 10 servers were completely unaccessible, including WHB site itself, WHB forums and WHB customer support portal. The problem actually maps to autonomous system, served by failed core. One of our ASes was unaffected, another was down. Finally we managed to switch affected network to alternative backbone and restore connectivity, things are back to normal now, however we will continue close monitoring.
As upstream staff says (however this is not an official statement yet, just private conversation) supervisor module on their core has physically failed, and they had to replace it with a cold-spare. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience, caused by the outage. Autonomous system affected is the one we're migrating off, and we believe migration will greatly reduce probability of such issues. We'll let you know when we get an official incident debrief from the upstream. Below is the list of servers, affected by today's outage: rs10.whbdns.com rs11.whbdns.com rs9.whbdns.com ss2.webhostingbuzz.com ss3.webhostingbuzz.com ss4.webhostingbuzz.com ns101.whbdns.com rs12.whbdns.com vps1.whbdns.com site.webhostingbuzz.com

Further to Den's message, a lot of you will have recently received an "IP renumbering notification" message last week and over the weekend. We are making a significant upgrade to our network and this ip renumbering will complete the final phase of this.
Thank you for your understanding.
