SoftLayer Engineers will be performing upgrades to the line cards. These upgraded cards provide higher forwarding rates and further redundancy in the event of traffic floods and/or attacks.

No customer impact is expected as a result of this work. While you may notice some latency as traffic is shifted to redundant line cards, there should be no downtime involved.


While the maintenance window is set for 4 hours, we expect the maintenance to last no longer than 2 hours.
