Default First we had bumper stickers. Then we had t-shirts. Now we have...

Rubber ducks! Yep, those beloved little yellow ducks that everyone played with as a kid in the bath tub.

Before you question our sanity, let me explain why we're doing all of these fun promotions. We want to build up our social media and viral marketing efforts and how better to do that than involve our customers?

So our plan for the ducks is to send them out to customers with the intention of you taking photos of the ducks in funny places. Whether you want to send your beloved duck over Niagra Falls, sail it down the Thames or across Lake Michigan, we want to see your duck in amusing places. Of course, ducks often spend time on land too so if your duck gets impaled on Sydney Harbor Bridge, send us a photo!

With your permission we'll feature all of these photos on our blog on Facebook. When we have a good number of entries, we'll have a free for all vote on the top 3 pictures and prizes will be awarded.

If this works well, we can run this as an ongoing competition and pick/vote on the best photos every couple of months. Who knows, we could start something big here with our love for cute yellow rubber ducks.

Pics to follow

Aren't they adorable?

We are ordering 500 - 250 for distribution in the US and Asia Pac and 250 for distribution in Europe. If things go well, we can order many many more.

More details to follow.

Expecting delivery next week. If we're sending you 12... then we want to see an armada of them sail across the Atlantic.

You could create two armadas - one painted with the Brit colors for our CEO and one with an American paint job. Then create a reenactment of us beating them back across the pond....

Now that would win you a laptop.

They are just awesome! Maybe we'll group the third armada for us?
Fancy having UA Black Sea Undercover Duck Fleet?

Max, did you mean sailing ducks? They should be amphibious though.
