Default Apache issue (resolved)

The server is currently experiencing problems with Apache services,
so sites may become temporarily unavailable.

Please accept our apologizes for these inconveniences.

We`ve taken care of that issue already,
so everything should be fine soon.

We will take the server down now for hardware check.
A full memory test will take about 30-45 minutes.

Please accept our apologizes for these inconveniences.

The issue is related to software memory allocation problems. The server is running quite old Linux distribution with pre-2.3.3 glibc, and OS upgrade hardly can be done on production. I'm downgrading apache on cheetah.ultrawhb.com to branch1 now, I believe memory allocation issue will be addressed this way. Unfortunately apache rebuild assumes approx. 15-minute web service downtime. We'll keep you updated on process status.

Ok, the problem has been fixed by apache downgrade and resource limit tuning. The system behavior is stable during short monitoring period I had. Case closed.
