Default Server hardware problems (resolved)

The server has problems with one of its HDDs, resulting in massive filesystem errors. Mission-critical services are currently down due to it. We're taking the server down now to check hardware and repair filesystems. All updates will be posted here.

We have checked HDDs, corrected filesystem errors and the server is back online. We appologize for any inconvenience caused by this technical issue.

Unfortunately the issuearised again. Main server's HDD seems to be damaged, so we're requesting new HDD installation. Possibly we'll have to reload OS and restore all the data from backups. We appologize for all problems caused by this hardware failure. All updates will be posted here.

OS has been completely reinstalled on the server, as well as cPanel. The server is up, we have started to restore accounts. Some sites hosted on the server are already up, some will be up shortly. Current progress is 25%, maximal ETA is about 4-5 hours.

Athena server has been completely restored. There was some minor problems during restore procedure and not all the accounts were re-created in cPanel metadata database (sites and e-mails are working fine however). If you can't login to your cPanel account - please file a ticket having you account name and put "Athena: account restored incorrectly" into the subject line for faster processing.

Account backups have been restored yesterday, but with some problems. Exactly - data have been restored and all the sites are currently up, however cPanel failed to create account metadata during restore process due to major software component malfunctions. It prevented all customers from logging in to cPanel interface. All cPanel issues have been fixed, cPanel itself is 100%-functional now, there were no bugs and glitches found during monitoring period. But unfortunately we'll have to re-restore all accounts once again. We'll divide all account list into small blocks, so downtime for each particular account should be minimal (20-30 minutes max.). We'll post status updates here.

Apache is down on Athena for some last minute fixes. There are still few accounts left which has to be restored manually. ETA for this downtime is about 1 hour from now.

Apache is back up & running. Everything seems to be fine. If you still have any problems - please submit a ticket with "Athena: " in the ticket subject.
