Competitors of Apple should take note of Verizon’s marketing campaign against the iPhone, a hard-hitting commercial that uses the iPhone as a punching bag. This marketing effort does something that no other campaign against Apple does to date: it hits back.
I saw this for the first time last night while I was watching a special on the JFK assassination and thought “This is brilliant!” It sure takes the “cool” out of the iPhone in very blunt terms.
PS: Until the “Droid” is released, the Blackberry is still superior to any iPhone. It has been proven.

I am currently enrolled in an upper division class on information systems security focusing on the CISSP examination. The class is part of a program certified by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security as a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance. Since cyber crime and electronic security are becoming such everyday topics – especially e-commerce related – I thought many of our readers might find it interesting to read some of my papers from the class.
The first assignment was to describe a security attack that I had experienced or been a part of. I describe a situation I was in as a small hosting provider who was defaced by a targeted attack against one of my clients.
The story goes back almost a year now (and is still being added to every day.) The story goes across 4 states and three nation’s borders. Until you’ve done a cyber investigation, you really have no idea how difficult situations like these can be – I sure didn’t have any grasp of it going in, but I have learned lots from the process.

Today, WebHostingBuzz is introducing an innovative environmental policy to deal with customers who fraudulently open accounts and then choose to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau when we fail to open those fraudulent accounts.
Since we are very environmentally conscious as a company, we have decided to use the paper from such complaints as toilet paper. This allows our company to save money by buying less toilet paper, but also saves the environment by reusing wasted paper. In addition, we have also pledged to make a $100 donation to the International Tree Foundation to apologize to Mother Nature for this cruel abuse of her resources.
The implementation of this policy began yesterday after a long saga with a fraudulent customer which goes back several weeks. I will include the transcript of the entire ordeal in a text file attached to this post, but here are the basics of what happened:

I’ve been hosting with Web Hosting Buzz since before I could drive, and before I was out of high school. Now, about five years later, I can drive, I’m in college, and I still don’t have a car. I made a mini version of the sticker for my laptop, and the full size one is on my desktop. Now I have even more excuses to tell people about WHB! On the computer monitor are my original two websites hosted with WHB, and of course the WHB website. The little thing sitting next to the coffee maker is Tux, the Linux penguin.
