Wow, is it me or has 2007 simply flown by? It doesn’t seem like last week that we were preparing for the festivities ending 2006 and New Years Eve of 2007. Well we’re here again, we’re a year older (yes, I’m a year older too unfortunately) but looking back, we’ve had a pretty good year. Server upgrades all round, live support, telephone support… you name if, we’ve introduced it and things are only set to get better. Here’s a little sneak preview of what’s ahead in 2008.
Firstly, our new website is going to be launched. It’s taken a lot of hard work, sweat and tears to produce but we’re there. We’re in the final stages of completing the textual rewrite of the site as we want the copy to be very slick but this will be launched in January. We’re aiming to coincide this with the launch of a new billing system too, which is going to make the life of Wayne, Fahad and all of the others in the billing department a whole lot easier.
We’re also going to be launching our business and enterprise brands. Business hosting is going to be focussed to small and medium sized busineses whilst enterprise will focus on multi-server clusters for high end applications. We already have a number of enterprise level customers (which I suspect, many of you don’t realise because WHB is budget orientated); the launch of a dedicated website promoting what we can do should help this. So, if you have an idea that will need be the next Facebook and want a reliable hosting partner, you have to look no further.
Looking further into 2008, we’ll be hitting the conference scene over the summer. If you’re going to any of the conferences that we do (we’ll post a list once we roll into 2008) and host, or have hosted with us, make sure you let us know so we can buy you dinner or some drinks. Also in the Summer of 2008 we’re entering a rally across Europe. This will be for charity and we’ll be taking sponsorships for this. We enjoy helping good causes whilst having fun, and if it gets us some publicity then it’ll be great fun all round! You can be assured of humorous pictures and video reports from this rally…. I’m sure you want to see if all of the WHB staff really do live up to their expectations, right?
Anyway, enough of the writing for now. We haven’t blogged enough in a while but I’m making efforts to correct this.
